They are found in the frigid grasslands and forests of Minnesota and British Columbia, the great plains, and elsewhere.

Wolves also have extremely strict hierarchies.The number of wolves in a pack is normally around 7, or the so-called 7 wolves, but some wolves have reached more than 30 wolves. Usually, a family Wolf is led by a dominant pair, while a group of brothers and sisters is led by the strongest Wolf.Wolves are territorial, and are usually within their range. When the number of individuals in a pack increases, the range shrinks.
